obviously prolly‘s been getting wound up by the whole hating on Fixed Gear Tricks thing, and he’s concluded the whole argument in a single phrase, as often is the case. Honestly I don’t really get the whole hating on other forms of the same sport thing, but there’s always going to be animosity between groups unless they’re untied against a common enemy, whether it’s skaterboarders on inline skaters or BMXers of whatever. The fact that there is conflict surely just strengthens the Fixed Gear Tricks scene by justifying it with enough contrast from normal fixed gear riding to be an independent sport?
