I saw this up on Pedal Consumption and thought that it looked kinda cool, so that’s why I’m posting it up. In reality I think that this sprocket does not have a place in the fixed gear market, as it is essentially a slightly lighter version of their standard spline drive sprocket for 3/32 chains. Decreased strength for weight reduction is not ideal for fixed gear tricks in that the reason for using a BMX drivetrain on a fixed gear is for increased strength, even though there’s likely a weight increase, so why would you fit a weaker chainring for less weight? might as well make the tradeoff for strength to be honest.
